We can never give up

Good afternoon

" Many of life's failures are people who did not realise how close they were to success  when they gave up "  Thomas Edison

This is precisely what we are risking today . In my opinion it portrays two important aspects in the political future of our country . we do not realise the success this country has achieved under PN . we do not realise that to achieve this ,required a mastermind in diplomacy and in statesmanship and a huge element of foresight and leadership skills .The successes achieved in all economic indices and the achievments in foreign policy are proof of this  . Other countries much greater than ours with bigger resources failed miserably . MLP are playing the part of an opportunistic player . It never mentions the success or how it can turn these to better "successes " ,it only bombards us with trivial things which did go wrong but which have no effect on the future of our families and children . Listening to peolple like Helena Dalli , Marlene Pullicino ,Michael Farrugia, Joe Sammut makes me wonder how they were ever chosen as shadow ministers . They failed to impress when they were confronted with PN counterparts on national tv . Are they the anointed ones who will be governing this country ?

We can never give up . It is our responsibility to show everyone that with a bleak future and a challenging years ahead ,coupled with a changing world , Malta Labour Party is in no position to govern . It is in no position to govern with its bleak history ,its promises which will bring about economic stagnation , and its incompetence even in opposition . We cannot risk our children's future.
We do not want 20% unemployment as in Spain and Greece but we do want records in tourism .
We do not want any austerity measures .We want stability .
We want the best for our country .
