Good morning .

              We had a good seminar at AZAD yesterday involving presentations for candidates who are contesting the coming election , obviously under the PN flag . I had to leave half way due to work commitments but what impressed me most was my brothers complete believe that if Labour are elected and keep just one of their promise of reducing electricity /water tariffs ,Malta will be heading for a bailout in a years time post election . This was repeated today by Simon Busuttil on a local newspaper .
               I know my brother more than anyone else and what really irritates me is the spin labour utters that my brother is " iggranfat mal Poter" . My brothers only mission in life is the country ,the people ,the family ,the individual , your education ,your health ,your personal economy. He wants every one of us to be a better student ,better worker ,better parent . He has sacrificed his life for this and he is neglecting his own health to reach these goals .
               Whether he calls the election today or in a few months time , he has been successful in every area of his governance ,even in the internal conflicts we have witnessed ; others including myself would have thrown the towel ages ago and left Malta in the hands of inexperienced people who are surrounded by old sharks with old ideas that do not make economic sense .
               Being shrewd and bearing the whole brunt of Parliamentary attack month after month and year after year , coupled with multiple international crises which involve Malta  directly or indirectly , he can now rest assured that he can call an election with Malta standing with her head high among fellow European partners and world leaders ,and knowing that with good leadership in good times but especially in exceptional bad situations as we have experienced , Malta can lead the way anytime ,anywhere.
